At NELA Youth, giving back and helping others is of extreme value to our youth! In serving, they will learn to respect others, be helpful and kind, understand people who are different, and develop leadership skills. We take a small group of kids at a time rather to clean up a park, hand out meals and/or homeless kits to those on the streets or evangelize to others. We teach them evangelism by handing out scripture cards/bracelets and telling others that Jesus loves them. This gets them out of their comfort zones to impact others. We must never underestimate the power of kindness and love to others. It can change a person’s life!
